On the 4th, the personal security division Kyoto Prefecture Police arrested Daisuke Fujiwara, 47 years old, doctor of Kita-ku, in the city of Okayama in Japan. This as a suspect in violating the Okayama Prefecture Ordinance on Prevention of Annoying Acts (prohibition of indecent acts) for voyeuristically photographing a high school girl during her medical examination. The suspect admitted the accusation, stating that he “definitely took voyeuristic photographs.”

The suspect was arrested on May 18, 2021 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. in the infirmary of a secondary school in the city of Okayama. She would have voyeuristically photographed five second-year underwear students during a medical check-up at the nursing of an Okayama city high school between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on May 18, 2021.

According to the Prefecture Police, Fujiwara is the director of a private hospital. The Okayama City Council of Education had commissioned him to carry out medical examinations in primary and secondary schools for about 10 years. In May of this year, he was interrogated in connection with another case of voyeurism in Kyoto Prefecture, where images of some 40 primary and secondary students were found in a seized ballpoint camera.
