Yanineko x Sofmap: The New Goods with Red Bikini and Ass Pose in the Air That Have Fans Crazy
Fans of Yanineko They have just received the most direct blow of the entire season. Animega × Sofmap has just announced an early sale fair with new and originally drawn illustrations that, for the first time in the merchandising Yanineko and Kansai Neko are taken to completely provocative “photo shoot” territory.

The Event: Sofmap FES and the Exact Dates
The advance sale is taking place from the October 28 to November 15, 2026 in several Animega × Sofmap stores, including the AKIBA Amusement Building and the Ikebukuro store. Those who cannot go in person will be able to book online from November 16 to 29, 2026, with shipments scheduled for mid-January 2027.
The line-up includes the classics: badges, shikishi (illustrated sheets), acrylic stands, sleeping masks and, of course, the dreaded 3D mousepad. There are also chibi versions in pajamas and collectible cards. As a bonus: for every 2,000 yen you buy you get a random postcard and for 3,000 yen a sticker with the chibi in pajamas.

The Illustrations That Are Breaking Everything
What is really generating the stir are the two main illustrations of the “photo shoot”:
- Yanineko In a red bikini, posing shamelessly.
- Kansai Neko pulling down his shorts until his ass was completely in the air as he looked back.
On the Japanese blog that compiled the reactions, the comments did not mince words: “Is Yanineko also going this way”?”, “The pose is too erotic… it looks like the introduction of a doujin” and “At this point it is no longer dirty, eroticism wins by a landslide.”
Other fans got straight to the point with the recurring joke of the series: “The owner is not going to survive this… the evil dragon is going to be released again.” There are even those who ask for Shizue Satou’s version to be released and those who ironically wonder if “this is really what Yanineko’s viewers want.”

Why this joke hits so hard
For those who haven’t followed the series: Yanineko (ヤニねこ) is the Nyanya Factory manga published in Young Magazine that was made into summer anime 2026 (July to September, 12 episodes). It follows a group of “kuzu” catgirls — especially Yanineko (Sato Yaniko), a heavy smoker — who live in a shabby apartment under the care of the owner (大谷おう也, CV: Inada Tetsu).
The owner is, openly, a textbook kemonoer: he gets instantly excited by any pose or gesture of the cat girls. That’s why the community has been using the phrase “free the evil dragon” for months whenever a particularly dangerous frame or illustration appears. These new illustrations from Sofmap are literally the material that the fandom has been waiting for (and fearing).

The series has always played with the dirty, absurd and sexually awkward of its protagonists. That official merchandising makes this leap to such direct gravure poses is exactly the kind of movement that keeps the owner’s meme alive.
If you’ve already been following Yanineko for her dark humor and troublesome catgirls, these Sofmap merchandise are the next level. If you haven’t seen it yet, this merch will convince you that the owner really has no salvation.
