Eimi Fukada leaves the AV and bets everything on the children of the slums in the Philippines
Because it’s not all about Spiderman porn. In a turn that few expected from one of the largest former stars in the Japanese adult industry, Eimi Fukada (深田えいみ) has decided to sell practically all of its assets to open a children’s dining room in the slums of Manila, Philippines. This news has generated all kinds of reactions: admiration, skepticism and a lot of debate in networks.
The one who was one of the most popular actresses in JAV, known for her charisma and millions of followers on social networks, seems to have found a new purpose after her silent retirement in 2025. Now, at the age of 28, she focuses her energy on a solidarity project that seeks to give food warm to children living in extreme poverty.

From adult stage to charity: Eimi Fukada’s personal journey
Eimi Fukada initially debuted as Kokoro Amami without surgeries, but the success did not come quickly. He worked at Hostess Clubs and Escort Services to save around 3 million yen, money he invested in plastic surgeries in South Korea. After his transformation, he relaunched his career in 2018 under the name Eimi Fukada and reached the top of the industry.
in the program Abema “Asset, Sell Everything” (資産、全部売ってみた), recently issued, openly shared his past: the bullying he suffered in elementary and high school, his initial motivations for money and surgeries, and also the famous tax scandal that forced her to use a large part of her savings to pay off a millionaire debt.
But the turning point came with a meeting in the slums of the Philippines, specifically in areas like Tondo. Seeing the children living in harsh conditions, where many families resort even to food collected from the garbage (known as PAGPAG), marked it deeply. That moment prompted her to want to create a “Kodomo Shokudo” (子ども食堂), a school or children’s dining room that provides nutritious meals on a regular basis.

The project: 15 million yen and a pitch to investors
Its objective is to collect 15 million yen to start the dining room. In the show he sold trophies, bags from luxury brands and other personal assets. Even so, combining sales and savings, he was missing around 8.4 million yen, so he had to do a pitch in front of five powerful businessmen and investors.
The presentation was not easy. One of the “Gift Tenders”, the successful businessman Takeuchi Norihiro (founder of Rilakkuru), gave harsh but constructive criticism to Eimi Fukada: he pointed out that he seemed to have little resistance to spending money and recommended a volunteering more in line with their real possibilities, without forcing things. “Accumulating virtue is important, but is it necessary to go beyond your limits?” he told her.
Despite the tension, Eimi defended her vision with conviction: ‘I want to use my dissemination power on social networks and my international reach to help. It’s not about making more money, but about giving children a rich and dignified meal.’

Genuine transformation or strategy? voices for and against
It is the first time that a former AV star of this caliber pours out so publicly in a humanitarian cause of this type. As many celebrate their change of course and the positive impact it could have, others are more cynical, wondering if part of the motivation is to maintain visibility or manage pending financial issues.
The truth is that Eimi Fukada maintains a strong follow-up (more than 14 million between platforms) and is still active in her fan club. His appearance on television, glamorous as always, revealing even the balance of his bank account, generated great media attention.
In Japan, where the “Kodomo Shokudo” are a real response to child poverty and the loneliness of many minors, this type of initiative is usually well valued when executed with sustainability. EIMI has expressed that it is looking for a model that can be maintained in the long term.

Eimi Fukada went from being synonymous with content +18 to becoming a figure that speaks openly of self-improvement, financial mistakes and now, of international solidarity. His story recalls that behind the lights of adult entertainment there are people with complicated pasts and desire to reinvent themselves.
