VenusBlood VALKYRIE is the new piece in the strategic dualtail saga and went on sale in Japan on July 25, 2025, in a physical package and digital download. The label presents it as a Simulation Of strategy and conquest with tentacles and Awakening of Valkyries, a definition that sums up the package quite well: army management, Norse mythology and adult content.

VenusBlood VALKYRIE is the third installment in the line inspired by the sagas of the north, after VenusBlood -FRONTIER- and VenusBlood -RAGNAROK-. The setting is the continent of Auskofin, hit by an icy winter, and the goal is to snatch from demons the tree of the world, Yggdrasil.

VenusBlood VALKYRIE: from brainwashing to Soul Evolt

The erotic core is supported by the Tenrin Heljar Linker, an artifact that allows the soul of heroines to be interfered with and brainwashed. On this basis, the Soul Evolt system comes into play, which inverts the nature of the soul of an already mastered heroine and turns her into a creature akin to Rolan.

In VenusBlood VALKYRIE, the protagonist is Rolan, a human warrior who, after the defeat of an evil dragon, draws the attention of the great god Odin and is given command of the mission to recover Yggdrasil. He forms an independent assault unit called Arsþis and carries the sacred sword Gramnova, forged by Odin himself from the fang of the beast.

Leinfelte, nicknamed Forte, is the young Valkyrie who accompanies him from the beginning: competent, with high ideals and with a sincere respect for Rolan as a savior. Her dark form, the Dark Valkyrie, does not make her another person so much as a version where loyalty to Odin is twisted into a desire to degrade the divine.

In VenusBlood VALKYRIE, Ortlinde is the veteran counterpart: a trusted Valkyrie for Odin who rules the sacred kingdom of Yudaril with a serious, chivalrous disposition. After brainwashing, she adopts a masochistic profile and goes on to serve on the front lines for Rolan. The cast is completed by Gunnhild, Platier, Gyllvi, Hyndra and Altila, each with her altered form.

In the plot field, the sacred kingdom of Yudaril, the human-demonic alliance of Elysberg and the neutral nation of Rhine coexist. And yes, the tentacle component of the series is still there, tied to the apparatus of domination that moves the entire adult part.

Meanwhile, dualtail keeps open a plan to localize and remake the VenusBlood series financed by crowdfunding, with VenusBlood GAIA indicated as the third installment of that project. For those who now arrive at the saga, it is the most likely door to recover the old pieces.
