Review: Love Sweets • A very sweet visual novel

Love Sweets is a Visual novelL of Moege from developer Moonstone, whose previous works include Sakuranomori Dreamers, Princess Evangile and Imouto Paradise. With a story of life full of romance and comedy, beautiful moments abound every step of the way. However, considering the previous titles of the developer, you can probably expect what is offered here.
Love Sweets  It starts when Itsuki Futami discovers that he is a sad lone after all his friends have girlfriends. So now, you are committed to overcoming this unfortunate state by lining up and getting a job, all hoping to find love. Her childhood friend, Yui Ichinose, suggests that she start working in one of the stores she attends. The place is pretty famous among the girls, which means you’re likely to have a chance.

The shop is called Hot Chocolat and serves all kinds of sweets and drinks to accompany. Everyone who works there is a girl, except the owner, giving the protagonist an additional opportunity to get closer to the opposite sex. All heroines are her co-workers, including Yui, who ends up joining well.

Kanae Otonashi is a mysterious beauty known for being distant and having an aura that makes it difficult to get closer to her. Of all the school classes, she is the best girl everyone would love to have a date with. However, people have a wrong impression and their real personality is very different, since it is a bit uncomfortable to interact with others. His biggest dream is to become a baker and he works hard to achieve it.

Kushina Otonashi is an energetic kouhai whose cheerful personality is a small ray of sunshine. But it can be a little random and it’s easy to distract it. Friend of the protagonist’s little sister, she actually likes hero shows. But, when the moment requires it, it can also be sensitive and helpful.
