Review: Love Sweets • A very sweet visual novel

Love Sweets is a Visual novelL of Moege from developer Moonstone, whose previous works include Sakuranomori Dreamers, Princess Evangile and Imouto Paradise. With a story of life full of romance and comedy, beautiful moments abound every step of the way. However, considering the previous titles of the developer, you can probably expect what is offered here.
Love Sweets  It starts when Itsuki Futami discovers that he is a sad lone after all his friends have girlfriends. So now, you are committed to overcoming this unfortunate state by lining up and getting a job, all hoping to find love. Her childhood friend, Yui Ichinose, suggests that she start working in one of the stores she attends. The place is pretty famous among the girls, which means you’re likely to have a chance.
Love Sweets 2
The shop is called Hot Chocolat and serves all kinds of sweets and drinks to accompany. Everyone who works there is a girl, except the owner, giving the protagonist an additional opportunity to get closer to the opposite sex. All heroines are her co-workers, including Yui, who ends up joining well.
the best part of Love Sweets It is the chemistry between the characters. Although the narrative presents many tropes of characters, it does a great job of making them feel believable and charismatic. In addition, they are all cute girls whose personalities shine during interactions, making them a remarkable example of the genre.
First of all, we have Yui, who has been friends with Itsuki since they were little and lives around the corner. Their relationship is identifiable, and both constantly fight, as close friends usually do in real life. He has many hobbies and stands out in everything that arouses his interest. When the subject is the protagonist, Yui knows him so well that it is difficult for him to hide something from him.
Kanae Otonashi is a mysterious beauty known for being distant and having an aura that makes it difficult to get closer to her. Of all the school classes, she is the best girl everyone would love to have a date with. However, people have a wrong impression and their real personality is very different, since it is a bit uncomfortable to interact with others. His biggest dream is to become a baker and he works hard to achieve it.
Love Sweets 3
Kushina Otonashi is an energetic kouhai whose cheerful personality is a small ray of sunshine. But it can be a little random and it’s easy to distract it. Friend of the protagonist’s little sister, she actually likes hero shows. But, when the moment requires it, it can also be sensitive and helpful.
Minamo Enjou is a senpai that usually acts carefree but is quite good at her job. She has a cheerful disposition and it’s weird not to see her smile. As a kind of role model, it helps the protagonist learn the ins and outs of the work. However, you can easily get distracted.
I know this is to be expected, but there is an additional route for Iori Futami, the protagonist’s younger sister. As his parents have always traveled frequently, the protagonist had to learn to cook and take care of the house. Unfortunately, she ended up pampered by her older brother, becoming an otaku with a large poker face that always speaks in two directions with his Nii-san.
While all girls are cute and have their peculiarities, the protagonist is also a funny guy. The interactions between them are entertaining, even if it may seem that you have seen everything before in another place, since the title is not interested in contributing anything new to an already winning formula. Here are some great illustrations and tons of CG with the cast, especially if you like the curvy guys.
Love Sweets 4
Love Sweets It is a romantic comedy full of tenderness. He may not be particularly creative, but he understands exactly what players want from a good Moege. With adorable love interests and memorable interactions, this is a great representative of what gender is all about. If you just want to have fun, it’s definitely recommended.

Synopsis of Haremkingdom:

A holiday, the protagonist, whose creed in life was \”having fun\”, but who also had traumatic experiences both with romance and with women, was once again reprimanded by his childhood friend, Hikari, for not trying to get a girlfriend.
He worried that if this continued, he would become a failed human being. But he just wanted to spend his time enjoying his hobbies and escaped from relationships by all means necessary.
However, a wrench would be thrown at his plans when suddenly a bright light enveloped them both and they were transported to another world. When they opened their eyes, they were looking at an important port city. While they were still bewildered by their new environment, a woman, who identified herself as the city’s prime minister, told her that he was the \”last king\” of the kingdom.
Without accepting a no for answer, the people forced the position of king over the protagonist. In addition, the first romance of his life would occur as a result of his real duty to \”build a harem, engender heirs and stimulate the growth of the kingdom\”.
